FBKT – Reinventing the Art of Tea

The story of FBKT is that of a group of epicureans who, in 2016, decided to reinvent the tea experience by infusing it with an artisanal soul and a breath of modernity.

It all began in the garage of Julien and Tasha, the founders of FBKT.
He, a former sommelier and instructor at the Institut Paul Bocuse, pursues flavors like a true craftsman of taste.
She, an experienced pharmacist and plant expert, knows how to combine benefits and pleasure in every infusion.

Passionate about travel and gastronomy, they gradually became true experts in tea tasting. Curious, bold, and driven by passion, they brought together other tea lovers who, like them, did not recognize themselves in the existing market. Tea that felt too standardized, too conventional, not alive enough.

Together, they set out to create a tea brand that truly reflects who they are: innovative, artisanal, committed, and above all… free-spirited.

At FBKT, every recipe is crafted with precision and hand-blended in our workshop in the Loire region of France. Our creations are inspired by French gastronomy, combining respect for tradition with limitless creativity. We are committed to offering premium, inventive and modern teas that appeal both to lovers of great classics and to explorers of new flavors.

But FBKT is much more than a tea brand. It is a philosophy — a mindset.

Our mission: to make tea accessible to everyone by breaking down its traditional codes. At FBKT, quality goes hand in hand with originality. Like the “T” in our signature, our creations have character and don’t take themselves too seriously.

What began as an agile start-up, where everyone rolled up their sleeves, has grown into a structured artisanal company driven by a passionate team. A team that, day after day, continues to grow the brand while staying true to its DNA: authenticity, craftsmanship, fairer trade, and eco-conscious commitment. A team of real people with real names: Chloé, Justine, Louis, Géraldine, Olivier, Céline, Pierrick, Flore, Manu, Nicole, Chacha, Momo, Estelle, Tasha and Julien.

FBKT is the story of women and men moving forward together, stronger, united by a shared vision of taste and connection.

Today, FBKT supports those who want to bring meaning to their business. We stand along side gourmet store creators and independent retailers looking for products that truly stand out: exceptional teas with strong values and identity.

Matcha latte, golden latte, beetroot latte or spiced caramel latte… Artisanal milk-based drinks are emerging as a strong new trend in coffee shops, tea rooms and gourmet stores.

At FBKT, we don’t follow trends — we create them. Our artisanal powdered latte recipes are designed to offer independent retailers a premium alternative to traditional coffee, with a strong and distinctive identity.

We wanted to create a top-of-the-range tea brand on a human scale, with a modern edge, combining traditional know-how, creativity and the highest standards of taste.
Located on the Roannaise coast, in the foothills of the Massif Central, our production workshop – one of the only tea blending workshops in France – benefits from the magnificent setting of this spa and wine-growing region.

Our family business brings together 14 people (nearly half of us live in the village or nearby villages), and everyone has their own specialty!

But delivering high-quality teas and infusions to our customers on time is our top priority: whenever needed, the whole team steps into production.

Julien

FOUNDER OF FBKT, RECIPE CREATION, TRAINING

A tea sommelier! A former instructor at the Institut Paul Bocuse (2015-2019), he has travelled extensively and is now an expert in tea tasting and the creation of tea-based recipes.

Julien is passionate and a true connoisseur. An epicurean at heart, he knows his subject like the back of his hand — right down to the tip of every leaf.

Natalia

PURCHASING - PLANT EXPERTISE

10 tonnes of dried plants, over 1,000 raw material references, 24 import countries… With a background in pharmaceuticals, Natalya is responsible for supplying the workshop with plants, original teas, fruit, flowers, spices and essential oils, as well as creating recipes for herbal infusions.

Trained at the Lyon School of Medicinal Plants, she has a perfect command of the world of wellness plants.

A true foodie, Natalia may say no to a croissant, but she’s always up for a homemade pastry. No one delights us with banana bread quite like she does.

Céline & Justine

Marketing - communication

At the helm of the Marketing & Communication Projects Department, Justine and Céline, two dancers at heart, combine creativity, design, photos/videos and communication to manage the brand’s image!

Céline => A yoga enthusiast, dancer and communications expert, she combines creativity, rigor and efficiency on a daily basis.

Justine => A big fan of festivals, dance and techno, she always has a pair of Doc Martens on her feet!

Géraldine & Chloé

Sales - Logistics

Together, Géraldine and Chloé manage the day-to-day relationship with our business customers : advice, registration, shipping and invoicing, all with efficiency and good humor !

Chloé => Professional customers rejoice ! Whether it’s tracking your orders or answering your questions, Chloé is there to guide you.
In doubt ? A problem ? She always has the solution (and a smile) !

Géraldine => With her good humor and contagious energy, Géraldine brings sunshine into our (and your!) daily life. Customer service runs through her veins: nothing feels more natural to her than meeting clients’ expectations and supporting them with genuine care and kindness.

Chacha & Nicole

Order picking

Chacha manages order preparation and new store installations with exceptional organizational skills!

Together with Nicole, she forms the winning “Express Order” duo.

Chacha => Originally from Thailand, our chacha loves to cook and paint. She always has a smile on her face!

Nicole => Nicole is the queen of delicious home-cooked meals. A black belt in karate, this young grandma is never short of new sporting challenges!

Manu & Pierrick

Workshop, assembly, recipe creation

Every day in the workshop, they weigh, cut and blend strawberries, teas, papayas, marrons glacés, verbena, ginger… and can assemble up to 80/100 kg of FBKT teas & infusions by hand every day ! Guardians of the FBKT Galaxy, they also create our cocoa and spice recipes.

Pierrick => Our soft-hearted green giant. He’s as big as he is kind to us all.

Manu => A former serviceman, Manu is a big mate fan and highly athletic! Tough on the outside but soft at heart, he leads his “little ants” in the workshop with discipline and kindness.

Olivier & Momo

PLANTATION

Olivier oversees the plantation and our entire agricultural model: irrigation, crop planning, harvest schedules, experimentation with tea plants… Supporting him in this wide-ranging program is Momo, always by his side. Together, they speak the language of the land and share their expertise during plantation visits.

Olivier => An agronomist engineer, Olivier is a true friend of plants. Rigorous and deeply committed, he has a sharp practical mindset and an impressive knack for finding solutions.

Momo => This market gardener loves the soil—and it loves him back! Since his arrival, the plantation has had a real makeover, and our vegetable garden is overflowing with produce.
